Unable to delete an EC2 instance after termination

Having trouble deleting an EC2 instance after termination?
I encountered this issue while cleaning up my AWS resources. Despite deleting all VPC components, network elements, and storage like EBS volumes, I found myself stuck with one lingering EC2 instance in a "Terminated" state.

The snag likely lies in the instance's network connectivity being tied to a DHCP option set, either directly or indirectly through its associated VPC (even though the VPC was removed successfully).

To overcome this hurdle, ensure to delete the DHCP option set in the same region where your EC2 instance was originally created. This step should clear the way for a seamless deletion process.
